After working silently for lots of years on 26th June of 2009 M. G. R. Bikash Seva Sangha get its registration from West Bengal government and partnership with central government. As far as our strategy is concerned, we have adopted the strategy of functional flexibility. To be precise we have no intention of keeping ourselves cloistered with a specific functional domain. Rather we want to get branded as a multi-functional organization specializing in various disciplines sprawling from development to rehabilitation. Our multifaceted intervention will be ensured to tackle any sort of social problem. Thus we consider functional pliability as our unique selling proposition. Our first step to save the world was to teach a better life for the slum, street and poor children of Central kolkata. In a school where not at all 20 or 30 children were admitted, we the B.S.S. have admitted more than 200 children from the slum and street children. We don’t want our limits to serve the world up to the people of kolkata, we have also gone to the ruler areas of India. Our work is not only for minority, tribal, poor, and O.B.C. and street people but also for them who are handicapped by their work.
